S.O.S. Council – Making the world a better place

Our Mission:
Neutralize COVID-19

The history of health disparities for Black Americans is a long one. Right now we are contracting and dying of COVID19 at much higher rates than other groups in America.

It’s time to create lasting change to make a difference.

It’s time to Save Our Selves.

What is the
SOS Council?

We are leaders in health, tech, business, policy, sports, and culture driving a Black response to COVID19 and creating real change for our community

Our Goal is to
Save Lives

To build the largest database for understanding the health status of Black America to assist in solving the current crisis.

To present key findings to policymakers and politicians to drive real results to communities in need.

To leverage our knowledge to begin sustainable programs for other long-term issues affecting our community.

Our Strategy is to Get the Word Out

The long-term solution is, of course, to dismantle structural inequalities. Fortunately, technology-based interim solutions may help improve outcomes for individuals, if not totally erode the barriers to health equity.

The S.O.S. Council envisions leveraging telemedicine, creating apps in partnership with the black community and harnessing the power of social media to spread vital information that will save lives.
